WITH zap
Preparing Your Message
1 Click “New”
in Outlook
Outlook will present you with a new message for you to prepare.
2 Either type in the e-mail address in the “To….” Field
or press the button “To...” for the “Select Names”
window and you can select an address you have already saved from a previous
correspondence.
Any additional addresses are separated with a semi-colon (;)
3 Once you are satisfied that you have selected and inserted all the addresses
you want the message to go to, then press “OK” in the “Select
Names” window.
4 After inserting a subject in the “Subject” field you are
ready to type your message in the body of the text.
5 If it is necessary to attach a file to your message you may do so by
clicking on the small paper clip in the middle of the tool bar.
6 This will give you access to your Computer and any network you may be
connected to onboard. Simply click on the file you would like to attach
to your message and press “Insert”
7 When your message is complete click “Send” (top left)
8 The software now takes you into the “Cost Centre” to allow
you to allocate each address to an account.
9 After having allocated an
account to each address, simply click “OK” and the message
will go into the “Outbox”. The software will take you back
to the “Inbox” so that you can decide whether to prepare another
message or transmit this message.
Sending Your Message
10 If you are ready to transmit,
then simply click the “Send/Receive” button in the middle
of the tool bar (Outlook 98/2000) or press F5 (Outlook 97).
11 The system will check for any mail waiting to be transmitted and will
compress it ready for transmission. You will then move into the “zap”
software.
12 Your curser will now be
positioned over the “Dial” button ready for you to click.
13 The “Circuit Selection” window gives you the opportunity
to change to Satellite, GSM or Land Line telephone. If the selection you
have is correct, simply click the mouse again as it will be positioned
over the “Connect” button.
14 The “Dialling Properties”
allows you to change Satellite or LES. Again, your cursor is positioned
over the “Dial” button so if all is fine in this window, simply
press and the transmission will commence.
Check the transmission is completed by watching the “Hang up”
button change back to “Dial”.
